It has been a long time since I played a text-based horror game so when I saw the game that Team Lactose made, I decided to try it out as it looks much better than many of the text-based horror games that I have played.
I am extremely surprised at the amount of effort put into this short text-based horror game. The sound effects used in the game were perfect for each scenario and it came at the right timing. Moreover, the effort placed in creating the artwork for each scene surprised me a lot. I was impressed by the dual function of each artwork where when you hover your mouse over the image, it changes to something more gruesome and horrifying. I am amazed at how Team Lactose managed to cover each aspect of what a text-based game should have. The only sad part about the game was that it ended without really fully exploring the themes of the storyline and the game could have been much longer if choices were given to the player to slowly figure out what was actually happening in the world where these choices impact the ending of the game,
